Iowa has introduced legislation to combat illegal immigration. Iowa has introduced a bill to combat illegal immigration. Senate File 2340 declares that it is illegal for an alien who has been deported, or denied admission to the U.S., to enter or reenter the state. The bill has been sent to the Governor. Kim Reynolds is expected to sign the bill. Reynolds a Republican, stated that she would sign the legislation. It will go into effect in July.
The United States Supreme Court rejected an appeal by the parents of a teenager who had been stripped of his custody rights in Indiana because they refused to affirm their son’s “gender identification” as a female.
